How does a personified complex shape reveal itself as a character you aspire to become?
“We’d hoped for students to consider how simple shapes can be representative of complex character traits, and to discover the exciting potential of geometry and reading in revealing hidden strengths. Students were going to explore with self-portraiture, writing, collage with abstract shapes, and constructing superhero costumes.
Unfortunately the pandemic required school closure and CPS policies kept us from being able to meet with our Teaching Artist via remote platforms.”
